TSA is now accepting nominations for Round Three. Nominations are open until May 14, 2011. Instead of emailing, we are trying something different in hopes that it is easier for you all.

Welcome to Round Three of TSAs!

Welcome to Round Three of the The Slash Awards! The categories are listed below, some returning favorites as well as some new ones!

Nominations will be accepted from April 23, 2011 to May 14th, 2011. Voting will be May 15 and run through May 29th. Winners will be announced June 1st.


A few reminders:

If the category you are nominating in is specific (ie Best Blow Job), please include the chapter you are nominating.

A story that has won the category in Round 1 or 2 is not eligible for that category for Round 3, they are eligible for other categories, including new ones, however. Eligible stories are listed below the category.

All stories can be O/S or WIP for each category except for those specified for those specific stories.

If you are nominating a banner, please include a link to the banner so that we can post it for voting.

We have received a few het fics in the nominations, remember this is for SLASH (same sex pairings) only, all catagories, unless otherwise specified are M/M only.

A story can be nominated more than once and you can nominated more than one per category.

All nominations, except one shots and completed categories, MUST have been updated within the last three months.

You do not have to nominate something in every category.

The top seven (7) will move on to an public open voting round.

I am going to try to make nominating a little easier this round, and will hopefully be posting a link with a form before nominations are open.

New Categories to Round Three!

Favorite New Author: Qualifying author must have less than 3 stories, either O/S or WIP, one of which must be slash.

Favorite Slash Author: Which author do you drop everything to go read, whether it be a new story or an updated WIP?

Best FemSlash: This is the category for the ladies!

Best Villian: Can be a literal bad guy or just one that inferes with your favorite boys in a not-so-nice way.

Most Creative Fuck: Position, location, amount of people involved...whatever gets your er, creative juices flowing.

Best Cockblock: What scene makes you groan and want to hunt the author down in frustration?

Best Breakup/Makeup: Which story makes you snot sob when they part and do the same when they are reunited?

Best Dirtytalk: We all love those murmurs in the ears of lovers, which character in which story turned you on the most?

Best Overall Hottest Lemon: Which lemon in which story required a change of panties?

Best Ensemble: Which fic has the best characters all around? Where the supporting characters are all as well developed as the main ones are.

Best Friends to Lovers: We all love reading about those friendships that grow into life long love. Which story is your favorite?

Best Completed Story: A qualifying story must have been completed within the last year.

First, thank you to everyone that nominated and voted in Round Two of The Slash Awards! We received over 400 votes and in some categories, the first and second place fics were separated by less than five or six votes. In "Best Coming Out", only six votes separated first from third.


We appreciate everyone taking the time to make this round so successful with promoting, tweeting, and of course, nominating and voting.

Voting is...closed well, temporarily

Due to the Slash/backslash contest currently voting on FFnet, we've have voluntarily delayed our voting until that contest is complete so that the stories nominated HERE do not get an unfair advantage in the Slash/Backslash contest. We do not want either of the stories to be disqualified from the Slash/Backslash contest. We would have delayed it sooner, but were just notified of the conflict.

We will put the voting up on Monday, August 30th and it will run through the 24th of September. We apologize for the inconvience, but we want to respect their wishes and cooperate with their contest. Slash is all about the love, right?
